Premier League side Southampton have informed French right-sided player Jérémy Pied that he will not be retained and will thus leave the club when his current contract expires at the end of next month.

The 29-year-old joined the Saints in August 2016 as a Claude Puel-inspired recruit, but injuries and the flow of new managers meant that he never really got a chance to settle there.
