Cristiano Ronaldo’s brother formally accused of jersey fraud: Reports

Cristiano Ronaldo’s older brother, Hugo dos Santos Aveiro, who was embroiled in a controversy involving a T-shirt fraud, has been formally accused of fraud by the Italian Public Prosecutor’s Office in the case of allegedly counterfeit Juventus jerseys.

According to a report in the ‘Corriere dello Sport’, Hugo will now face legal proceedings for selling T-shirts, bearing Ronaldo’s image and signature, were reportedly sold without the necessary permissions and licenses.

The investigation began in 2019 with the aim of determining whether there was fraud against the company ‘Pegasso’, with which Cristiano Ronaldo had an agreement for the online sale of sports clothing for Juve shirts.
