Ever since the first incident of open Namaz disruption happened in Gurugram last week, there has been a growing concern among those from the Muslim community about more such incidents, especially after the Sanyukt Hindu Sangharsh Samiti, a collective of Hindutva outfits openly threatened to disrupt Friday prayers.

On Friday, they actually stopped people from offering ‘open’ namaz at several parts of the city. The Hindutva outfits went around the city shouting slogans like ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Bangladeshi wapas jao’.
