Top UK Star Joins WWE, Undertaker IG News, WWE Wants Broadcasters

It has been a truly monumental week for WWE’s United Kingdom division. In addition to the United Kingdom Championship tournament taking place earlier in the week, the company finally announced the launch of their UK brand. WWE has already hired plenty of talented UK performers who will be able to carry the series, but another top standout will be working on NXT UK. Welsh wrestler Eddie Dennis walked out onto the stage during last night’s UK Championship Tournament taping in the Royal Albert Hall to the surprise of just about everybody in attendance. Dennis has competed for just about every promotion in the UK, and he now appears to be competing on the upcoming NXT UK tapings in Cambridge in July.

July 6th I walked away from the headship of a school chasing a dream
January 13th I ruptured my pectoral chasing said dream
March 5th I had surgery to repair said pectoral
June 19th I walked out on a @WWEUK stage in the @RoyalAlbertHall

The Undertaker was the last WWE Superstar that fans believed would get into social media, which is why it was odd to see that “The Deadman” appeared to have launched an Instagram account a few weeks ago. Although he has not made a ton of posts, the account is verified and active. Fans remained suspicious that the account truly belonged to the wrestling legend, but former WWE Superstar Michelle McCool has just confirmed that that account truly does belong to her husband after all. McCool also noted that the Instagram account is the only social media account that “The Phenom” currently has. As of right now, there are only three photos posted on The Undertaker’s page.

YES, y’all….THIS is official! My man @undertaker is officially on IG & this is his ONLY account! Sit back & enjoy the ride…..#myheart #hubs ??

WWE has managed to branch out and expand into several different markets all over the world over the years, and it is no surprise to learn that the company is still searching for new areas that will hopefully be able to bring in some more fans. With all of the global expansion that WWE has been implementing lately, the company is now in search of a couple of broadcasters to represent the company as the “face and voice” for their digital and social media platforms. Courtesy of a report from PWInsider, WWE’s corporate website currently has open job listings for hosts and on-air personalities to cover the market in Mumbai, India, as well as the Latin American market in Mexico City, Mexico.
