Stephanie McMahon’s comments regarding the late Joanie “Chyna” Laurer possibly going into the WWE Hall Of Fame appeared to have rubbed former WWE head writer Vince Russo the wrong way.
TMZ released a video clip earlier this week where Stephanie was quoted as saying Laurer will likely go into the WWE Hall Of Fame, it’s just a matter of which year she will be inducted. After watching the video, Russo took to his official website to post a new blog addressing the topic.
“It’s so sad that Joan Laurer had to actually DIE in order to be recognized by the WWE,” wrote Russo in the blog. “Honestly, mere words here cannot even start to describe how sad, pathetic and just out right disgusting that is. While she was on this planet Vince, Hunter and Stephanie didn’t even have the decency to treat her like a human being, let alone someone who contributed to their overall success over the years. But in her death . . . she is SURE to get in the Hall of Fame.”
