Ric Flair Promotes Upcoming ‘Off The Top Rope’ Events in Canada

WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time world champion Ric Flair has been hustling as always, as he’s currently promoting his Off the Top Rope tour. The tour is rolling into Canada on January 11 and 12. The Friday show will take place in Vancouver and Saturday’s show will happen in Edmonton.

The show’s subtitle is Untold Stories of Pro Wrestling, which means that The Nature Boy will surely be in rare form as he recounts some great memories he has of his years in the business. Legendary manager “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart will serve as the moderator for the event.

Flair has gotten back in the full swing of things following his health scare in 2017. Flair was hospitalized in the fall of that year and many pro wrestling fans were concerned that they would never see the champ again.

But Ric is definitely still Ric and for a 69-year old man that spent nearly forty years in the ring, he’s not looking bad at all. The Nature Boy is no longer wrestling of course but the fact is, he’s got nothing left to prove. Flair infamously “bled, sweat and paid the price” for the bulk of his life. He became one of the all-time greats and many diehard fans believe he is indeed the greatest of all time.

Flair has become a pop culture icon. He may have never crossed over into another medium like The Rock and John Cena, but he never needed to. Ric is respected for who he is and what he accomplished in the industry. Much of that respect comes from pro sports, where Flair has become a motivational icon. He’s also become a an icon in the hip-hop world as well. The song Ric Flair Drip continues to be an anthem for the swagger and lifestyle that The Nature Boy has always proudly represented.
