Update —
Michael Elgin issued the following statement via his Instagram account:
I appreciate the time and opportunities given to me with Impact. That locker room, the film crew and all the company officials were a pleasure to be associated with. I hope that in time things get sorted.
For now i have to look at the bright side, I have more time to spend with my son and reclaim time that has been missed.

It looks like Michael Elgin has made his final appearance for Impact Wrestling.
In a statement issued today, Impact announced that Elgin won’t be appearing in any of the promotion’sĀ further programming: “IMPACT Wrestling has announced that Michael Elgin will not be appearing in any further IMPACT Wrestling programming.”
Impact announced earlier this week that Elgin was suspended “pending further review of allegations of misconduct.”
Elgin had been scheduled to be one of the challengers for the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary on Saturday, July 18. Tessa Blanchard was supposed to defend the Impact World title against Elgin, Eddie Edwards, Ace Austin, and Trey Miguel in a five-way match at the pay-per-view. In addition to Elgin not appearing in any further Impact programming, that match has been affected by Impact terminating its relationship with Blanchard and stripping her of the World title. Impact hasn’t revealed their new plans for the match or how a new World Champion will be decided.
Elgin made his Impact debut at Rebellion in April 2019.
